WindowsでMacOSXのExposéの機能を実現する「WinPLOSION」というユーティリティーがあります。
これをインストールした環境で、Norton Anti Virus（NAV）2005がユーティリティーを構成するファイルの一つ「WINPHK.DLL」から「PWSteal.Trojan」を誤検出するのを確認しました。この現象について「WinPLOSION」開発元のサポート・ページでは、以下のように説明しています。
Virus warning: we have had several reports of trojaned binaries (found in WINPHK.DLL). These are false positives, our packages are not trojaned. We are trying to solve this, however our possibilities here are limited. We tried to contact Norton etc. but they seem not to be able to respond, unfortunately... Please forward this issue to them and make them aware of this false alert.
ちなみにNAVのウイルス定義ファイルは最新版を使っています。「WinPLOSION」ご利用の方はくれぐれもご注意下さい。
